Dionne Hill

Click to downloadDionne Hill is a field producer for CNN Presents.  In this role since 2008, she is responsible for researching, field producing interviews, and writing for long-form programming.

During her five-year tenure with CNN Presents, she has written and produced for award-winning documentaries Sarah Palin Revealed, Black in America: Black Woman and Family, and Martin Luther King, Jr.: Words that Changed a Nation. Hill rejoins the Black in America series for the second installment as a producer on Tomorrow’s Leaders.

Hill began her career at CNN as an intern, and prior to her current position, worked as production assistant and associate producer for CNN Presents.  In these roles,she contributed to documentaries such as God’s Warriors, which received the George Foster Peabody and DuPont-Columbia Awards, and Body Parts, which won a Freddie Award.  She was also part of the coverage teams that earned CNN awards for its coverage of the Hurricane Katrina and Southeast Asia natural disasters.

She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and also serves on the Corporate Responsibility Council for Turner Broadcasting.

Hill earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and African & African American studies from Stanford University. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
